Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 24, 2026
The short version: we collect only what we need, we do not sell your information, and the weekly note is easy to leave whenever you wish.
1. Who is responsible
This website and the Mrs. G newsletter are operated by the Maison G project at officiallymrsg.com. For privacy questions, requests or complaints, email hello@officiallymrsg.com.
2. Information we collect
- Your email address when you join the weekly note, request Letter Zero or submit the audience survey.
- Your optional survey answers and Instagram handle.
- A record of newsletter consent, including the signup source, consent wording version and time.
- Limited, aggregated website usage data such as page views and button events.
- Technical security logs held by our hosting and form providers.
3. How we use it
- To send the weekly Mrs. G email containing good news and a horoscope when you explicitly consent.
- To deliver Letter Zero as the welcome gift connected with that subscription.
- To review survey responses and contact selected participants about an online conversation.
- To understand whether the website works and to prevent abuse.
- To respond to messages and privacy requests.
The weekly note is intended to contain positive editorial content rather than product promotions. We do not sell or rent subscriber information.
4. Consent and unsubscribing
We send the weekly newsletter only after an affirmative opt-in. Survey submission alone does not subscribe you. Every newsletter will include an unsubscribe link. You may also ask us to unsubscribe or delete you by writing to hello@officiallymrsg.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already occurred lawfully.
5. Service providers
We use service providers only to run the website and communications:
- Netlify for website hosting and technical delivery.
- FormSubmit.co for receiving form submissions while the newsletter system is being connected.
- Plausible Analytics for aggregated, privacy-friendly website measurement without advertising profiles.
- Google Fonts to deliver the site typography; Google may receive standard connection information such as an IP address.
- A dedicated email service provider will be used to store subscribers, send the weekly note and operate one-click unsubscribe. This policy will name that provider before the connection is made live.
Providers may process information in other countries. Where required, we rely on their contractual transfer safeguards and applicable data-protection mechanisms.
6. Cookies and tracking
We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioural tracking. Plausible is configured as cookie-free audience analytics. External services reached through links on this site, including Amazon and social networks, have their own privacy practices.
7. Retention
- Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion. A minimal suppression record may be kept to ensure we do not email you again.
- Survey responses and direct correspondence are normally deleted or anonymised after 24 months unless needed for an active conversation or legal obligation.
- Provider security logs follow the provider’s standard retention schedule.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of your information, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. Email us and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.
9. Security and children
We use HTTPS, access controls and reputable service providers, but no internet service can promise absolute security. The website and newsletter are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
10. Changes
We may update this policy when the newsletter provider or our practices change. The current version and update date will always appear on this page.
